We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Speech and Language Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Birmingham. They are seeking a qualified Therapist with previous Adult Dysphagia experience.
Job Description
We are seeking Children’s Speech and Language Therapy : – Full Time or Part-time (minimum 22.5 hours) Band 6 or 7 SLTs working with Dysphagia in community & special school settings for BCHC NHS Foundation Trust Come and join the community children’s team in Birmingham ! You will be delivering face to face sessions in patient homes, clinics and special schools alongside some video calls using the NHS Attend Anywhere platform to children with eating, drinking and swallowing needs. There will be training to set you up and access to admin support. There are clearly defined pathways, access to experts and access to letters and report templates. Applicants will need to have post-graduate level qualifications in Paediatric dysphagia
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- Highly competitive rates of pay
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Dysphagia setting
