Locum Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist – South Yorkshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in South Yorkshire. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Paediatric experience.
Job Description
- Inpatient (respiratory, orthopaedics) & outpatient (MSK, neuro, orthopaedics) working
- Provide a key role in ensuring that patients with a range of presenting conditions receive an outstanding service including assessment, treatment, and signposting to other clinical areas should this be best for the patient
- Be a key lead and support for the paediatric and wider outpatient & inpatient physiotherapy team – advocating for our service and expertise as well as providing innovation to deliver the service in the most effective way
- Show good governance of the paediatric pathways including embedding service user engagement and patient led outcomes in all your care
- Supervise students and junior members of staff where necessary, and on occasions deputise for the Band 7 Physiotherapist
- Have completed a variety of rotations including MSK out-patients/orthopaedics, medical/surgical/ITU, neurology
- Have excellent team working skills and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients, as well as being able to work alone
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- Highly competitive rates of pay
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Paediatric setting
