We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in South Wales. They are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist with previous Paediatrics experience.
Job Description
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday) – part time will also be considered
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
Position Requirements
- HCPC registration along with appropriate qualifications
- Right to work within the UK
- Experiance working with an out-patient setting covering a complex paediatrics caseload.
- YCC – Essential criteria- We are seeking a candidate with experience of working with children and young people with a range of moderate to complex additional needs, at a Band 7 level. This will include assessment, intervention planning, training/upskilling, providing intervention and discharging. We seek an OT who can efficiently complete and close episodes of care, manage their time effectively, and contribute to service development. A car driver is essential as work will involve visiting community sites, such as school and homes.
- Desirable criteria – Experience of specialist seating and upper limb splinting.
