We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Bedfordshire. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous MSK experience.
Job Description
Applicants will need to have a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience. Duties of this role: To undertake comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments of patients including those with a variety of simple to complex presentations. To deliver the service on a face to face assessment and treatment basis and, where necessary, refer onward. The post holder is expected to carry out appropriate clinical risk assessment in clinic settings. To participate in the delivery of ‘Physioline’ telephone based assessment and advice service alongside clinic based work. To identify clinical problems and use clinical reasoning skills to establish patient centred goals and draw up treatment plans utilising a wide range of treatment skills and options.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a MSK setting
