Locum Band 7 or 8 Oncology Physiotherapist – Manchester

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Manchester. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Oncology experience.
Job Description
Our client is looking for a Physiotherapist who can work the below requirement:
– Start date 15th May 2023
– End date TBC (4-6 weeks cover, potentially longer, service dependent)
– Monday to Friday
– 08:30 to 16:30 (37.5 hours)
– Band 7 (Band 8+ will be considered, pending review of candidate CV)
Skills/Experience required:
– A highly skilled Senior Physiotherapist who is competent to work across our Oncology and Haematology In-patient units
– A clinician who Oncology experience and excellent communication skills
– It is essential that they have a strong surgical, acute medical and respiratory background
– Neurology experience is also beneficial
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within Oncology
