We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Birmingham. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Stroke experience.
Job Description
To provide a specialist physiotherapy service to patients recently diagnosed with a stroke or neurological condition in a range of community settings using developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge.
To be a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers and external agencies who may require advice and support and guidance in the management of stroke and neuro conditions.
To transfer individual patients’ ongoing care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient and effective way.
To meet the service specification objectives and key performance indicators as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of four years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Stroke setting
