We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Band 6/7 Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in London. They are seeking a qualified SALT with previous experiance in Neurorehabilitation.
Job Description
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday) – flexible working considered.
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within Neurorehabilitation.
- Candidate should be working at a Band 6 level and be able to demonstrate the clinical competencies to meet the role requirements.
- Essential that the candidate has post-graduate Dysphagia competencies and has a track record of working autonomously and managing an independent caseload of clients with acquired swallow and communication difficulties secondary to progressive neuro conditions, complex medical conditions, dementia, cancer etc.
- Recognised SLT Qualification and with current Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
- Candidate needs to be able to drive however will consider use of the Trust taxi scheme for the right candidate.
