Locum Band 6 Wheelchair Therapist – Berkshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum OT/Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Berkshire. They are seeking a qualified OT/Physiotherapist with previous Wheelchair experience.
Job Description
- Enhanced DBS
- Knowledge of BEST system is desirable
- Full UK license and access to own car
- OT/PT to support team for 3-5 months whilst possibility of extension due to maternity cover
- Offer flexibility of 1 day working at home or working 3 days part-time
- Cover East of Berkshire and provide wheelchairs and specialist seating to a broad range of people (adults and children) including those with complex disabilities.
- Provide care in clinics, specialist schools, care homes and in patients’ home.
- Excellent communication skills, a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic and evolving service and has a passion for supporting patients with complex needs.
- We require support for up to 37.5 hrs a week and could be flexible and agree working days with the candidate.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Wheelchair setting
