Locum Band 6 Community Physiotherapist – Birmingham

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Birmingham. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Community experience.
Job Description
To be able to complete a holistic EICT Assessment, which involves assessing the patients current abilities in the home setting, assessing their function, mobility and clinically reviewing their current medical condition
To complete a care plan document within the patients home, which would include completing several risk assessment documents such as falls risk assessment, Walsall (pressure risk assessment) and Manual Handling
To be able to set realistic and achievable goals, that patients can achieve within 15 days
To be able to complete a Physiotherapy Assessment in the patients home, where you are able to assess a patient, and compose a treatment plan/care plan that unqualified staff are able to follow
To work as part of an MDT, a play a key role in progressing patients through their EICT journey and to signpost patients/make onward referrals as appropriate
To be competent in taking and managing Physiotherapy students
To be competent in IT Skills
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Community setting
