We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Lancashire. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Community experience.
Job Description
The Community Rehabilitation Service/Home First team are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking Physiotherapist to join our service. The role involves assessing patients within their own home after a hospital admission. We are looking for a therapist with excellent communication skills who can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills who has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. The role will involve a holistic approach to encompassing physical rehabilitation and refer to wider community services.
You will improve experience for patients and their families. We promote continuity of care for patients in the community setting. Supporting patients following falls and providing support for the Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT).
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a community setting
