Locum Band 6 Acute Mental Health Physiotherapist – Northampton

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Dietitian to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Northampton. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Mental Health experience.
Job Description
To work in acute mental health, across adult and possibly older adult functional and dementia wards. Provision of screening, assessments, falls safety, 1:1 and group treatments.Ability to assess physical/mobility needs for discharge and prescribe aids/adaptations for safe discharge. Home visits. Physical ability to undertake manual handling and Breakaway/Low Level Intervention training. Must have Smartcard , MUST have current or recent SystmOne Knowledge, own transport. This role is Face to Face only.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Mental Health setting
