Locum Band 6 Critical Care Dietitian – Manchester

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Dietitian to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Manchester. They are seeking a qualified Dietitian with previous Gastro or Renal experience.
Job Description
Speciality in either; Gastro – Renal – Critical Care – HPB
Assessment of patients with diverse/complex presentations/multi-pathologies to identify problems and needs ensuring patient’s medical, biochemical, pharmacological, psychological, social & cultural factors are considered.
Accurate measurements to assess nutritional status & body composition including anthropometry, percent weight change, skin fold thickness, dynamometry, plotting growth charts, calculating height velocity and BMI/weight for height.
Use own knowledge of food, & nutritional analysis packages to analyse food intake, recipes & tube feeds.
Facilitate safe & timely patient discharge & to determine outcome of dietetic management of the patient.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Critical Care setting
