We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapy Assistant to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Northampton. They are seeking a Physiotherapist with previous NHS experience.
Job Description
- 12 month locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday) – part-time will also be considered (3 days a week min)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- To work in acute mental health, across adult and possibly older adult functional and dementia wards. Provision of screening, assessments, falls safety, 1:1 and group treatments.Ability to assess physical/mobility needs for discharge and prescribe aids/adaptations for safe discharge.Home visits.Physical ability to undertake manual handling and Breakaway/Low Level Intervention training.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Physiotherapy setting
