We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Dietitian to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Surrey. They are seeking a qualified Dietitian with previous Community experience.
Job Description
Band 6 Dietitian to provide clinical support for community dietetics. This role will join the community dietetics team and include clinical support through patient reviews, home visits and a community based hospital.
The caseload will largely be patients in the community either in their own home or in care homes requiring oral nutrition support. There will also occasionally be a need to see patients on the ward at Farnham hospital as we are offering a reactive service for patients there for whom the first line nutrition support measures are insufficient.
Remote working, although sometimes possible, will not be suitable for the entirety of the role. The candidate will need to be able to see patients face-to-face. Must be car driver.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Community setting
