We have a fantastic opportunity that has come up based within mainstream school around the North London area. It is a chance for a specialised SALT to use their skills within a friendly and innovative team.
Job Description
- This will initially be until the end of the financial year (31.03.23)
- This role will be to support children with EHCP’s who have specificity with regards to Speech and Language therapy in a number of primary and secondary schools across the area.
- The role will involve travelling between schools and working with school staff to ensure that the programme of support for SLCN is implemented across the school day.
- There may also be sessions carrying out assessments to inform the EHCP and we have some sessions in special school.
- Would consider remote candidates and in this case it would involve delivering an assessment package remotely , collating information and writing a report to update the EHCP.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a schools both Primary and Secondary age.
