Job Description
The purpose of this post is to provide a specialist level of expertise in the assessment and management of patients who have communication and/or swallowing disorders referred to the SLT service for East Suffolk. The post holder will work on the inpatient wards in Ipswich Hospital. The service supports people with the full range of acquired conditions including stroke, progressive neurological disorders, frailty, dementia. This role requires the ability to delegate clinical programmes to SLT assistants and other support staff, as well as MDT working. There is a training element intrinsic to the role.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within Orthopaedics
