We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Surrey. They are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist with previous Inpatient experience.
Job Description
To assess and plan for discharges which involve complex clinical decisions around equipment, manual handling and ongoing support needs.
Requires excellent communication skills as will be working with senior members of the MDT, as well as patients and families in challenging situations.
Will need to complete frequent home/access visits and form strong working relationships with the community teams.
Assessment, treatment, rehab, personal care as required
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within an inpatient setting
