IMC Locums are looking for a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology – PCR Testing
Job Description
-We are seeking experienced Biomedical Scientist with a minimum 3 years experience to work on an exciting project for our private client, the ideal candidate would have the below skills and experiences
- Processing PCR tests for results
- Working in mobile laboratories on various locations – UK wide
- Candidate must be prepared to stay in provided and paid for by the client accommodation
- Candidate must be prepared to start 5am onwards
- Leading a team of Laboratory technicians and Medical Laboratory assistant
- Excellent knowledge of Microbiology/ Virology/ Molecular techniques
- Monday to Friday
- Mainly early and core hours, however there may be some requirements for out of hours
Position Requirements
- Adhere to required PPE
- Ensure are timely and committed to hours issued for work
- Ensure SOPs are followed
- Ensure patient confidentiality
- Good customer service
- Maintain a professional attitude
- Must be flexible to work on allocated locations
- Experience in PCR testing
- Proven experiences in working in a high throughput laboratory processing results for volume samples
- Band 6/7
- Rates £27.00 -£34.00 dependent on level of experience
- ASAP Start
