IMC Locums are looking for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist trained in Haematology and Blood transfusions to work for our client based in Pembrokeshire, Wales
Job Description
- On-going work
- Band 6
- ASAP start
- Core hours for the first few weeks before joining the out of hours rota
- The department operates a 1 in 9 out of hours rota which combines core hours, long days (8am to 8pm) and nights (8pm to 8am)
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registration
- Experience in Haematology and Blood transfusion
- The successful applicant would be expected to complete in-house training and competence records during an initial training period whilst working core laboratory hours
- Beckman Coulter DxH analysers, Sysmex CS2100i and Ortho Vision
- TrakCare is used in Haematology and Telepath in Blood Transfusion
