IMC oums are currently seeking a highly skilled Locum Pacing Physiologist to join our dedicated Cardiology team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established cardiac unit with access to cutting-edge technology and a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret pacemaker checks (PPM, ICD, CRT)
Support device clinics and remote monitoring services
Assist with device implant procedures in the catheter lab
Liaise with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide top-tier patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to audit/quality improvement
✅ Requirements:
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
RCCP or AHCS registration preferred
IBHRE or BHRS accreditation in devices (desirable)
Proven experience in pacing and cardiac rhythm management
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
