IMC Locums are seeking an experienced and dynamic Locum Community Occupational Therapist to join a team in a community setting. This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, helping them regain independence and improve their functional abilities within their home environment. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a varied caseload and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical lead for OT and providing cross cover for PT Lead as needed. Complex case management, discharge planning, AV/HV, supervision of junior staff, MDT working, shared leadership – clinical exemplar, operational leadership. Equipment assessment and provision; moving and handling; orthopaedic, medical and community experience. Professional Registration: HCPC OT Skills: Leadership experience; complex moving and handling, NHS experience, community experience, Car driver essential.

Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council).
Experience working as an occupational therapist in a community or similar setting.
Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt interventions to suit individual client needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support clients and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
