Locum Echocardiographer – Bristol

Rate: £45–£55 per hour (Depending on experience)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Locum Echocardiographer to join a dynamic and supportive team at a leading NHS Trust in Bristol. As a locum Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), ensuring accurate diagnosis and contributing to the excellent patient care provided by the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and report adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), adhering to BSE standards
Independently operate echocardiography equipment such as GE Vivid, Philips iE33, and other advanced imaging systems
Provide accurate and detailed reports for cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
Ensure that patient safety and comfort are maintained throughout all procedures
Maintain and update patient records accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with clinicians to provide comprehensive patient management
Requirements:
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years of experience in echocardiography (adult transthoracic)
BSE Accreditation is preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Experience with a range of echocardiography systems (GE, Philips, or Siemens)
Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
