IMC Locums are recruiting for a Band 5 Biomedical Scientist in Histology South Wales

Job Description

  • Ongoing assignment
  • ASAP start
  • Monday to Friday 0800-1700
  • Minimum 12-18 months experience

Position Requirements

  • BMS experience
  • Band 5
  • Ideally experience in Microtome
  • Routine Histology, Special stains, Embedding
  • Cutting and staining paraffin sections from tissue blocks
  • Quality checking of slides
  • IHC depending on experience
  • Fixed specimen transfers depending on experience, other duties that will help the flow of the histology lab.
  • HCPC registered
