IMC Locums are searching for Senior Mental Health Practitioners that would be looking for a Band 7 role within Wiltshire.

Our NHS client is looking for candidates able to commit to minimum 37.5 hours per week.

Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm however they can offer 4 long days if this would be preferred by the right candidate.

Skills Required:

Ability to drive, experience of Community CAMHS or CAMHS in general.
Ability to undertake assessments of high risk patients and routine patients
Ability to attend multi agency meetings
Ability to use Microsoft Teams

The role has been described as follows:

To provide assessments and interventions to young people who present in crisis at the general hospital, along side offering telephone support to professionals, carers, family and young people who are contacting the service in crisis
To provide daily duty rota, complete risk assessments, care plans, clinical notes and crisis plans where needed
Attend Multi agency meetings as and when required for the patents we support
Provide specific interventions to young people accessing our service
Contribute to the Initial assessments for children referred to CAMHS
Provide consultation and advice to professionals

What will you need to have for this position?

  • Minimum 6 months hospital experience in mental health nursing
  • Nursing degree or equivalent qualification
  • Valid NMC Pin
