We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in South Wales. They are seeking a qualified OT with previous Paediatric experience.
Job Description
Essential criteria- We are seeking a candidate with experience of working with children and young people with a range of moderate to complex additional needs, at a Band 7 level. This will include assessment, intervention planning, training/upskilling, providing intervention and discharging. We seek an OT who is able to efficiently complete and close episodes of care, manage their time effectively, and contribute to service development. A car driver is essential as work will involve visiting community sites, such as school and homes. Desirable criteria – Experience of specialist seating and upper limb splinting.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Paediatric setting
