What is a Dietitian?
Dietitians are qualified health professionals that specifically assist with nutrition and advise patients and carers on or prescribe dietary interventions such as nutritional support, enteral or parenteral nutrition, or exclusion diets.
Dietitians can work in both the NHS and private sector and with both healthy and sick patients. They can work in various sectors including the food industry, sport, media and more.
All dietitians are registered and regulated with the HCPC.
